LinkedIn Learning: Boost Your Resume, Hone Your Skills With Free Courses, Certifications
More than 23,000 U of A students, staff and faculty have taken advantage of LinkedIn Learning, a free skills-building resource available through the university. Over the past 12 months, more than 13,000 professional certificates have been earned by the campus community.

LinkedIn Learning offers courses in business, technology and creative fields, as well as a wide range of certification programs. As part of Microsoft, there are several industry certifications available, including ones related to the highly relevant field of artificial intelligence.
LinkedIn Learning partners with a variety of tech-related companies in offering certifications in systems such as Adobe, Atlassian, Hootsuite, Intuit Mailchimp, Mozilla, Microsoft and more.
The top skills being developed with LinkedIn Learning include data analysis, leadership, Microsoft Excel, project management, Python, statistics, supply chain management and teamwork.
Additional fields available through this platform include animation and illustration, cybersecurity, database management, finance and accounting, graphic design, marketing and sales. Use LinkedIn Learning's AI-powered search to find courses related to your current or desired field of work.
