Kwanza Musi Dos Santos Lectures on Black Italy and Youth Culture March 3
Antiracism trainer and activist Musi Dos Santos will explore the growing movement led by young Italians of color challenging Italy's historical narratives and advocating for greater inclusivity.
The presentation highlights their efforts to address systemic racism, promote civil rights and reshape cultural and educational frameworks to reflect Italy's diverse realities. Through activism, creativity and policy advocacy, these youth-driven initiatives aim to redefine what it means to be Italian, emphasizing the importance of representation, equity and justice in contemporary society.
The lecture will take place at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 3, in Giffels Auditorium, Old Main 201.
