Celebrate Native American Heritage Appreciation at Women's Basketball Thursday
Razorback women's basketball takes on Oral Roberts University at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, inside Bud Walton Arena.
November marks a special time of the year when the United States celebrates Native American Heritage Month. This month-long observance is an opportunity to recognize and honor the rich history, diverse cultures and enduring contributions of the Indigenous peoples of North America.
In partnership with Nike N7, Razorback women's basketball is excited to recognize and bring awareness to Native American Heritage during this game. There will be special recognitions of groups along with the National Anthem rendition in Cherokee, performed by Ella Mounce, plus a Friendship Dance performance by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Youth Outreach Program during halftime!
