U of A Mock Trial RSO Celebrates Another Outstanding Achievement

Two U of A Mock Trial teams competed in early November with yet another series of outstanding achievements at the Bluejay Invitational at Creighton University. Pictured is Team One Love securing third place and a Spirit of AMTA Award!

The U of A Mock Trial team competed in early November with yet another series of outstanding achievements at the Bluejay Invitational at Creighton University. 

Team Renaissance and Team One Love had an incredible showing, displaying dedication and charisma in earning several team trophies and individual awards. 

Team One Love had an outstanding performance at Creighton University, securing third place with a record of six wins and two losses.

Allyson Zimmerman, attorney for the plaintiff, received an outstanding attorney award with 18 ranks. Alongside, Trinity Tipton, witness for the defense, also received an outstanding witness award with 18 ranks. 

Team One Love also received the Spirit of AMTA Award that recognizes civility, justice and fair play. 

Team Renaissance also competed alongside Team One Love with an amazing turnout. Maddie Gwinner, witness for the plaintiff, received an outstanding witness award with 16 ranks. Proudly, Team Renaissance also received an honorable mention at Creighton. 

The U of A Mock Trial team is a trial simulation-based RSO that competes in tournaments across the nation. We are incredibly proud of our members' dedication and congratulate them on their successes in representing the U of A!
