ScholarWorks@UARK, the U of A's Institutional Repository, has undergone a redesign to improve user experience and functionality.

Launched in 2015 and managed by the University Libraries, ScholarWorks serves as a digital archive for scholarly works produced by members of the university community. It houses research, scholarship and creative projects from academic departments, research centers, faculty, staff, students and other university affiliates. Much of the content is open access, making it available to users worldwide to support research, scholarship and education.

The updated platform offers a more streamlined and user-friendly interface, replacing lists with intuitive buttons to navigate the collection. A new user guide is available to help both new and returning users explore the repository.

Researchers can now upload their own works directly to the platform, taking advantage of a self-deposit feature. Additionally, the university's staff will continue to upload open access materials indexed in Web of Science.

For those interested in contributing to the repository, the university provides detailed author guidelines. For further assistance, individuals can contact the repository team at uarepos@uark.edu.
