The Graduate School and International Education has launched a new, redesigned website this week to better support the school and university's institutional goals.

The new site features a fresh design, streamlined relevant content with a focus on prospective students and a cohesive visual identity across GSIE units. Other new features include an interactive program finder, a new page promoting research opportunities for graduate students and a revamped giving page for donors.

The site was developed by third-party contractor Alexandra Williams with Red Rooster, in close collaboration with the Graduate School and International Education's Communications and Marketing team.

"We are thrilled to be launching a new website that showcases the life-changing opportunities available to graduate, international and study abroad students at the University of Arkansas," said Ed Pohl, dean of GSIE. "I want to thank Red Rooster for their incredible work over the last six months to make this vision a reality."

The redesign encompasses the main GSIE website as well as the unit sites, including:

Additionally, content and information for current students is now housed on a new SharePoint site, GSIE HQ, which students can access on the GSIE site by clicking their student type and clicking the "Current Students" link.

"Redesigning our website was a massive undertaking, and it took a village to see this project to fruition," said John Post, director of communications and marketing in GSIE. "I want to thank Ali Williams at Red Rooster, and also my colleagues Cody Jendro and Cassandra Thomas for their amazing work to make this possible. Ali was prompt, organized and made a very complex and difficult project look easy. Cody did outstanding work in facilitating the website redesign in collaboration with Ali, and the 'GSIE HQ' SharePoint site he created is dynamic, engaging and informative. And the site would not be the same without Cassandra's amazing photography and videography that truly captures the essence of studying here at the U of A as a graduate or international student."
