Time to Complete Annual Cybersecurity Awareness Training

The IT Security Office, in collaboration with the U of A System, strives to continually improve the state of the university's virtual environment by implementing standards and procedures that elevate online security for faculty, staff and students.

As part of these efforts, required cybersecurity training has been assigned to employees in Workday. This mandatory training is designed to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and equip employees with the necessary tools to safeguard both personal and university data. Faculty, staff and student workers are required to complete this training by Dec. 31

To make the process more efficient and user-friendly, this year's cybersecurity training will be delivered in Workday to all UAF employees, providing centralized access to materials and a streamlined experience. Employees will receive an email to notify them the training has been assigned, including instructions for accessing the course in either English or Spanish.

Employees can easily access the training modules by logging in to Workday and viewing the Awaiting Your Action box or visiting the Learning link on the Workday menu. Questions regarding cybersecurity can be directed to security@uark.edu.
