Next week at Creep it Real: Consent is No Trick, you can play musical chairs in one of only 10 rounds of musical chairs. Each round champion will receive an exclusive red musical chairs champion T-shirt. Immediately following the 10 rounds, each round champion will participate in the final championship round to see who will become the 2024 Crowned Musical Chairs Champion.

Creep It Real: Consent is No Trick will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct 28. The special featured musical chairs rounds will be held from noon to 1 p.m., with the grand championship round held around 1 p.m. Reserve your spot today!

(Note: Why musical chairs at an event that addresses sexual and relationship violence? It is not uncommon for victims/survivors to feel as if they are going around and around when dealing with systems that exist to help but often get bogged down. Although musical chairs is a whimsical game, the use of it is to draw attention of the circular path one may encounter and, at times, feel as if a chair has been pulled out from under them.

At the SRVC, victim advocates help victims/survivors navigate systems. Counseling and support group services provide processing of trauma and emotions. All services are at no cost and confidential.
