ASG DEI Committee Applications Open

Applications for students interested in joining the Associated Student Government's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee are now open on ASG's HogSync. ASG's DEI Team is looking for dedicated, creative and focused students to join. The committee will help ASG fulfill the desires and needs of the university's diverse population and uplift all students through policy and programming. Applications close Sept. 30.

The DEI Committee is recognized for its successful initiatives such as the 2024 Global Majority Festival. This event, which drew over 400 attendees, showcased the committee's ability to create large-scale, inclusive programming that celebrates diversity on campus. Building on this success, we seek enthusiastic committee members to contribute to ASG's ongoing policy development and programming efforts. New members will be able to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to our work, helping to shape initiatives that promote a more inclusive and equitable university environment for all students.

Any questions regarding committee responsibilities can be directed to ASG's Director of Diversity and Inclusion Bryson Austin at baa012@uark.edu.
