AAST VP Presidential Debate Watch Party

The African and African American Studies Program, in collaboration with the Political Science Department, invites students to attend a Vice Presidential Debate Watch Party at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 1. The event will take place in the AAST Lounge, located in Memorial Hall, room 230.

Attendees will have the chance to enter a book scholarship raffle, with the lucky winner announced at the end of the night. Food will be provided to all participants. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m.

This watch party follows a successful Presidential Debate Watch Party hosted earlier this semester by the AAST Program and the Political Science Department on Sept. 10. Both events offer students a space to engage in political discourse and watch the debates in real-time.

For more information or questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with aast@uark.edu or visit the AAST Lounge, which is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Don't miss out on this opportunity to witness the vice presidential candidates debate while enjoying good food, community and the chance to win a scholarship!
