Students, faculty and staff are invited to join Chancellor Charles Robinson for a Sooieet Success Block Party today, from 2-3 p.m. on the Arkansas Union Mall. Families of students attending Family Weekend are also encouraged to attend.

Helping celebrate the university's record enrollment and other recent successes, the informal event will feature music, snacks, a soda flavoring bar, cake and several giveaways, including sunglasses and Razorback "stress Hogs," while supplies last.

The U of A welcomed a record 33,610 students to campus this fall, including the second-largest incoming class of freshmen. This week, the university also announced a record $3 billion economic impact to the state of Arkansas.

Chancellor Robinson will make brief remarks at approximately 2:15 p.m.

The event will provide a "sooieet" opportunity to meet and/or grab a photo with the chancellor.
