Network Maintenance Affecting Campus Internet Today

IT Services will perform maintenance to improve campus internet service. From 5 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 7, internet access will be briefly unavailable in several buildings. All buildings relying on the BAND distribution switch will be affected, in addition to the AGRI, HOEC and PTSC buildings. To view a list of the buildings connected to the BAND distribution switch, visit the Distribution Switch Location page.

Rolling outages for each location are expected to last approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Upon completion of the maintenance, internet access will be restored as usual, not requiring any action from users for reconnection.

Additionally, the RESNET distribution switch for residence halls will be under maintenance on Wednesday, Aug. 14, between 2 and 5 p.m. Similar to the work above, corresponding buildings will experience 5- to 10-minute internet outages during this time prior to service restoration.

For questions regarding outages, campus Wi-Fi or other IT related needs, contact the Help Desk at 479-575-2905. The Help Desk is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to midnight and Saturday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
