Are you looking for a group of like-minded individuals who value service and community? Are you looking to give back? Here at the Volunteer Action Center (VAC), a student-led volunteer organization on campus, you'll find what you're looking for! We're reaching out to let you in on some important student volunteer opportunities, specifically with the VAC's food programs! The VAC has two food programs: Razorback Food Recovery and Full Circle Food Pantry.

Razorback Food Recovery's mission is focused on reducing food waste and fighting food insecurity locally. They aim to help campus dining outlets and local partners prevent food overproduction while distributing excess food to students on campus, Full Circle Food Pantry clients and local community partners such as Salvation Army and 7Hills Homeless Center. This program offers a great combination of service in sustainability and food insecurity issues. Razorback Food Recovery also has a newsletter you can subscribe to here if you're interested in monthly program updates!
