The U of A mock trial program soared to new heights this competitive season.Teams Spaghetti and Fettuccine made their mark in Arlington, Texas, at UT Arlington, and Teams Lasagna and Tortellini did the same in Norman, Oklahoma, at the University of Oklahoma.

Team Spaghetti faced several tough schools in Arlington and learned some valuable lessons along the way. Among their achievements, senior Jared Presley stood out and earned a prestigious 17 rank attorney award.

Team Fettuccine also had a great weekend, finishing with a 7-1 record and winning the Arlington regionals. To add to their success, two of their members received individual awards. Lex Beck secured both the 16 rank and 18 rank witnesses awards, and freshman Charis Morasch earned a well-deserved 16 rank attorney award.

Team Fettuccine was the only U of A mock trial team to qualify for the Open Round Championship Series, where they faced fierce competition from the top competitors in the country and took home skills that will prove vital to the U of A Mock Trial program.

Meanwhile, Teams Lasagna and Tortellini represented the U of A in Norman, Oklahoma, for the University of Oklahoma Regionals. Both teams had commendable performances, and they picked up an individual award along the way. First-year mocker Sarah Waller earned a perfect 20 rank attorney award and became an All-Regional attorney.

Overall, the spring season was a testament to the dedication, hard work and talent of our mock trial teams. Their exceptional performances demonstrate the invaluable skills and experience gained through participation in the U of A Mock Trial program. Congratulations to all our teams on a job well done!
