GSIE to Celebrate Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week April 1-5
The Graduate School and International Education will celebrate U of A graduate students during Graduate Student Appreciation Week April 1-5 with a slate of events across campus.
The week of events, which is open to the entire campus community, are centered around networking, mental health, building social capital, and wellness and fitness.
"Our graduate students are the lifeblood of our university," said Umer Rahman, associate director of graduate student support. "They're researchers, teachers and assistants who drive our university forward in critical ways — but most importantly, they're students who are here to earn an advanced education that will propel them to success for the rest of their lives. We are thrilled to celebrate them with this week of events."
