Special Olympics RSO Hosts Unified Basketball Tournament March 8
In a celebration of inclusivity and athleticism, the Special Olympics Collegiate Chapter is set to host its annual basketball tournament from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 8, in HPER court 4. Showcasing the talents and spirit of athletes of all abilities, the event promises to be a dynamic display of teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship. This tournament will feature a series of exhilarating games, with teams vying for victory while displaying exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship. Spectators can expect an electrifying atmosphere filled with cheering fans, thrilling plays, and unforgettable moments of triumph.
Beyond the competition, the tournament will also serve as a platform to raise awareness and support for the Special Olympics movement. This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the Student Activities fee.
