Register for Free Citation Management Workshops Next Week
Zotero is a free program that allows users to collect, organize and cite research publications as they write. Zotero is also a robust platform for taking notes, managing quotes and paraphrasing sources. The libraries will offer four opportunities to attend an online workshop on using Zotero the week of Feb. 19. This session is free and open to the campus community, and registration is required.
During the session, attendees will learn:
-
How to create a Zotero account
-
How to install the program and configure a web browser to collect and manage citations
-
How to use Zotero with Microsoft Word to insert and format in-text references, endnotes and footnotes
This one-hour session will be offered at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20; 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21; 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21; and 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22.
The session is part of the libraries' Razorback Researcher seminar series.
