The Graduate and Professional Student Congress is inviting both new and returning graduate and professional students to the Spring 2024 Grad Fitness Week starting today Feb. 5-11 at the HPER Building. Grad fitness week is a weeklong event aimed at promoting physical fitness and utilization of UREC among graduate students.

Physical fitness plays a vital role in supporting the overall well-being and academic success of graduate students, leading to improved mental health, reducing the risk of depression and anxiety. Regular physical activity has also been linked to improved cognitive function, including better concentration, memory and problem-solving skills.

To access the HPER Building you will either need your student ID or the UREC app. Twenty-five graduate students who participate would be selected via random selection to receive a $25 gift card each. Food will be provided from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7.
