Join CAPS & ASG from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, in the Arkansas Union's International Connections Lounge for the Welltrack Boost Post-Launch event.

The U of A community is invited to "Start Well, Stay Well: The Welltrack Boost Post-Launch" event hosted by Pat Walker Health Center's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and the Associated Student Government from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, in the Arkansas Union's International Connections Lounge.

Welltrack Boost is a self-guided, clinically supported set of tools based on cognitive behavioral therapy that helps individuals assess, understand and work on their own behavioral health and wellness. You can read more about the app and its initial launch in the fall in this Arkansas News story.

The post-launch event is to help the U of A community remember to prioritize their mental health and well-being as the semester is getting started and a new year has just begun. Those that attend will learn about the app's features and how to best navigate the app.

"We want to showcase the resources Welltrack Boost has to offer the U of A community, especially starting off in the new year, which is why the tagline 'Start Well, Stay Well' is fitting. Now is a perfect time to start well and stay well with the assistance Boost has to offer," said Aubrey Franke, CAPS crisis mental health clinician/case manager.

In addition to CAPS and ASG hosting, other campus departments will be present to increase awareness about the app and share departmental resources and/or activities related to the app, such as journals, meditation tools and information on sleep hygiene. Even Big Red will appear from noon to 12:30 p.m. to show his support.

Plus, the first 25 students to download and login to the Welltrack Boost app for the first time at the event will receive a 20-ounce tumbler. Hot chocolate, sweet treats and various swag items will also be provided to those who participate in the event.

The U of A community can download Welltrack Boost in the Apple Store or Google Play and login with their uark.edu email address and password. To learn more about Welltrack Boost and further explore all the app has to offer, visit health.uark.edu
