Reminder: Complete Annual Tasks in Workday by Nov. 15
The Department of User Solutions recently announced a variety of Workday tasks that all employees must complete prior to Nov. 15. Two of these tasks are the Annual Notice of Discrimination and the Annual Notice of Protected Data.
-
Annual Notice of Discrimination
All employees are asked to review the Prevention of Discrimination, Sexual Harassment & Sexual Assault document available in Workday. Once reviewed, clicking the "I Agree" checkbox and submitting it will remove the item from an employee's Workday inbox. The document can be revisited in each person's Workday Profile under the Career tab's Documents subtab.
-
Annual Notice of Protected Data
To adhere to federal reporting standards, all faculty and staff must review and update their personal data in Workday. Ensuring accuracy in race, ethnicity, veteran status, disability and other protected data is crucial. Upon task completion or if no updates are needed, a simple click on "Submit" will remove the item from your inbox.
Conflict of Interest and/or Commitment Task
Nov. 9 Information Sessions
User Solutions will host information sessions for those wanting to learn more about the Disclosure and Management of Potential Conflicts of Interest and/or Commitment reporting process, another one of the tasks employees must complete. Sessions will be offered on Nov. 9 geared toward two primary audiences:
-
For employees submitting their own COI, COC or OE disclosure, the "general" session from 2-3 p.m. will explain how to navigate the Workday process seamlessly, input information and access helpful resources for any questions.
-
The other session is for managers, department chairs and supervisors who will be reviewing and approving COI, COC and OE submissions from their employees. The focus for this session is providing a comprehensive understanding of supervisory roles in the COI/COC/OE process. Attend from 3-4 p.m. and discover how to efficiently review and manage disclosures while ensuring compliance and ethical practices.
Registration is required. Employees can click here to RSVP and add the session to their Outlook calendar.
Workday Training
For employees who wish to learn more about the COI/COC/OE disclosure, on-demand training is available in Workday Learning. After logging in to Workday, employees can access the training directly and self-enroll using this link.
