The Full Circle Food Pantry will be giving out 180 Thanksgiving baskets this fall. The items in the baskets include canned green beans, mac & cheese, rice, instant mashed potatoes, pineapple tidbits, cornbread stuffing, canned sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, shelf-stable mix, baking mix, turkey gravy, a frozen turkey and a pan for cooking the turkey.

Registration for the baskets will begin on Oct. 23 and end on Nov. 3. Anyone with a valid campus ID number is eligible to register.

This program is funded through monetary donations to the Full Circle Food Pantry University Foundation account, and the items in the baskets are provided through the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank and donations. The program also includes other seasonal baskets that will be given out later in the year, including winter baskets and spring cleaning baskets. Pick-up will take place Nov. 6 until Nov. 10, during regular pantry hours. If you are placed on the waitlist, pick-up will take place Nov. 13-17.

The Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry is a resource available to all U of A students, faculty and affiliates. It is located at 324 Stadium Dr., Fayetteville. The hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays, 3-6 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays. Participants Needed for a Time-Restricted Feeding Study

The Department of Food Science and the Center for Human Nutrition are recruiting adults between the ages of 23-65 years to participate in a nutrition study related to time-restricted feeding (eating for eight hours and fasting for 16 hours each day).
