The Pat Walker Health Center on Garland Avenue.

As our campus prepares for the Fall 2023 semester, the Pat Walker Health Center would like to remind the U of A community that it's important to take care of yourself. Our community can rest assured that the health center has several resources available to support and help you succeed in your overall health and wellness!

The Pat Walker Health Center is the U of A's exclusive medical, mental health and substance use and support facility for faculty, staff and students. The health center is an AAAHC-accredited institution, providing comprehensive, compassionate and evidence-based care.

The PWHC's hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m Fridays. The Primary Care Clinic has extended-service hours on Saturdays in the fall and spring semesters from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (excluding university holidays and home football games). The first Saturday clinic of the semester will be Aug. 19.

In addition to in-person services, PWHC offers telehealth services to the U of A community. Whether you are already an established patient or a new patient, you can be seen at the health center; however, you must be in the state of Arkansas at the time of your TeleVisit to be eligible. You can learn more about TeleVisit medical appointments on the health center's Appointments page. For more information about telehealth services from health center's Counseling & Psychological Services, call 479-575-5276, or the center's Substance Education, Assessment & Recovery program, email sear@uark.edu.

The medical, mental health, and substance use and support service areas all have various events and programming planned for the upcoming academic year that you can keep up with via the UARK Calendar, HogSync, Arkansas News and PWHC's social media channels: @uofahealth, @uarkcaps, @uarksear and @razorbackrecovery.
