Students: Get Involved, Join a Club; Come to Bumpers Bash This Week
Any U of A student from any major or college looking to get involved on campus and connect with other students through a club, organization or extracurricular activity is invited to Bumpers Bash from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31.
The event, hosted by the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Science's Waldrip Student Center, is set for the Maudine Sanders Student Plaza and Garden and Hawkins Family Terrace on the south side of the AFLS Building on W. Maple Street.
All Bumpers College students are especially encouraged to attend, along with all exploring and undecided majors on campus.
Bumpers College, its departments and the School of Human Environmental Sciences sponsor more than 20 clubs and organizations, but members are not required to be Bumpers College students.
Each club and organization, along with every academic department and support team from Bumpers College, will have tables and information booths set up for students to gather information about groups, activities, scholarships, international programs, the honors program, career connections, majors and minors and more.
The afternoon includes free snacks, drinks, ice cream, swag items, lawn games and something for everyone.
For students who are not able to attend or who are curious about other Bumpers College offerings, please contact the college's Student Services Team in the Waldrip Student Center.
Bumpers College clubs and organizations and honorary and professional groups are here.
