International students at the U of A can enroll in English language and culture courses during the summer semesters, offering students the opportunity to hone their English language skills and learn more about American culture. The registration deadline is April 21.

The foundational writing course Academic Writing Across Disciplines will be held during the summer intersession May 15-25. Additionally, Research Writing in STEM Fields will be held during the first five-week summer session running from May 30 to June 30.

"Writing is a great tool to use throughout your academic career, so let's develop these skills together this summer," said Joseph Poniatowski, instructor of English Language and Culture courses, or ELAC for short.

The ELAC program is housed in the Graduate School and International Education. For more information, contact Poniatowski at josephp@uark.edu.
