Learn More About Food Recovery and Sustainability at 'Contribute and Redistribute'

Join Razorback Food Recovery on Thursday, March 30, for "Contribute and Redistribute," a conference featuring community partners and local organizations discussing the food recovery network in Northwest Arkansas. Refreshments will be provided, and each attendee will receive a free T-shirt!

1-1:15 p.m.: Welcome to Contribute and Redistribute

1:25-1:45 p.m.: 2022-23 Recap and Future Plans of Razorback Food Recovery
Presented by current Razorback Food Recovery board members, this session covers the school year's success in redistributing excess dining hall foods to community partners and a look into the future goals of the program.

1:55-2:40 p.m.: Don Bennett, founder and executive director at Tri Cycle Farms
The mission of Tri Cycle Farms is "to grow community through soil as we steward food awareness, education and empowerment." Tri Cycle Farms does this through their pillars of sharing, teaching and farming.

2:50-3:35 p.m.: Cameron Caja, founder of Razorback Food Recovery
Razorback Food Recovery is a student-led Volunteer Action Center Signature Program that has worked to recover surplus food items and redistribute it to those in need within the Fayetteville Community and Northwest Arkansas region since February of 2014.

3:45-4:30 p.m.: Partner Panel
Join representatives from Chartwells, Salvation Army, LifeSource and the Yvonne Richardson Community Center to learn more about their work and partnerships with Razorback Food Recovery.
