Celebrating Latinas for Women's History Month Panel at Noon Friday
On Friday, March 31, Erika Almenara, associate professor of Spanish, will present a panel on "Celebrating Latinas for Women's History Month," along with her colleagues Adriana Gonzalez, associate dean for research and learning in the University Libraries, and Xochitl Delgado Solorzano, assistant dean for diversity, equity and inclusion in the Honors College.
The panelists will launch a video with interviews of Latinas that are part of the UARK community (faculty, students, and staff). The event will take place at the World Languages and Digital Humanities Studio, J.B. Hunt Center 207, from noon to 1:30 p.m., and refreshments will be served.
This panel is sponsored by the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the World Languages and Digital Humanities Studio, and the Latin American and Latino Studies Program. Join us as we wrap up Women's History Month by celebrating Latinas!
