Entomology and Plant Pathology Seminar to Feature Whitney Crow
The Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology will host Whitney Crow for an in-person and virtual seminar in the Plant Science Building, room 009, as part of the Spring 2023 Seminar Series. The seminar is scheduled to take place from 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, March 28. A social period will precede the seminar at 3:15 p.m., with light snacks and drinks just outside the lecture hall.

Speaker: Whitney Crow, assistant extension professor, Mississippi State University
Crow is an extension entomologist at Mississippi State University located in Starkville, Mississippi. She spent the last 3.5 years at the Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville, Mississippi, before transitioning back to main campus in early 2023. The goal of both her extension and research program to provide the best management tools for the major row crops in Mississippi. Another important component of Crow's program is graduate student teachings; currently she has five M.S. and two Ph.D. students.
