The U of A campus community is invited to come together for the inaugural Grateful Hogs Day on Thursday, March 30, to say thank you and celebrate the generosity of U of A donors.

Grateful Hogs Day is a new initiative organized by the Office of Engagement. Student pop-up events will be held throughout the day at various locations on campus. All faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in the day-long celebration.

Student pop-up event locations include (all on Thursday, March 30):

  • 9 a.m. at the Peace Fountain
  • 10:30 a.m. at Kimpel Hall and Dickson Street
  • Noon at the Arkansas Union Mall

There will be special giveaways for the first 100 students participating in activities at each location. Grateful Hogs Day is designed to bring visibility to the impact of philanthropy at work on campus and to educate the wider U of A community about the importance of private gift support.
