The public is invited to a Premiere Night tonight, Feb. 21 for RazorLearn, a new U of A initiative promoting community learning that offers classes free of charge. The event takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Collaborative in Bentonville, 704 SE Fifth St.

The Global Campus Professional and Workforce Development team moved into a new space, called The Learning Lab, in The Collaborative at the beginning of 2022. It includes a boardroom, large classroom, podcast room, computer lab and staff offices.

RazorLearn offers a variety of non-credit, community lectures at no cost led by local industry experts including U of A alumni, local executives and business owners. Course categories cover a range of topics including health and wellness, politics, business and sustainability. There is no membership fee.

Enjoy networking and refreshments at the Premiere Night and chat with some of the RazorLearn instructors about topics that will be covered in their lectures. RazorLearn is a community-based program that will connect you with volunteer community experts and civic leaders who want to share special skills and explore shared interests that are relevant to our lives, health and growth.

Along with expanding your mind and engaging with people who share the same interests as you, RazorLearn is an initiative that will give back to our community and use education to advance the workforce and the people in it. For more information, visit the RazorLearn website.
