The Center for Communication Research is hosting an event featuring Fulbright Scholar Anna Dziapshipa. This event will highlight her work as a documentarian, as well as provide an opportunity for Dziapshipa to discuss film in her home country, Georgia.
Dziapshipa has professional experience in art history, film producing, cultural management, documentary film and experimental video. She is co-founder of documentary film company SakDoc Film. Her works often explore transformation of physical borders into the memory and identity.
The event will take place in the University Programs Theatre (ARKU 423) in the Arkansas Union at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26.
