Staff Senate Announces the U of A Part-Time Employee Award Recipient for 2022

Congratulations to Maggie Roberson for being awarded the Part-Time Employee of the Year. Roberson currently works in the Financial Aid Office in the verification department.

She provides administrative services for the Office of Field Placement and Licensure and the Boyer Center for Student Services. She has been working for the College of Education and Health Professions since 2013.

Here are some comments from the nominators of Roberson:

  • She has a great personality, gets along with her co-workers, is willing to go that extra mile and when she comes into work, she works.
  • She utters no negative comment about anyone.
  • She has stepped up and helped others in our office such as helping answer phone calls in the call center.
  • She has also taken on the training of other verification employees, as necessary, which normally would not be in her job description.

Roberson will be honored with a certificate and monetary award for her outstanding service to the U of A.
