CAPS LGBTQ-Plus Support Group

CAPS LGBTQ-Plus Support Group
University of Arkansas - CAPS

Counseling and Psychological Services would like to share with you an amazing opportunity for students who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The LGBTQ+ support group is geared towards those who experience marginalization based on their gender identity, gender expression and/or sexual orientation. It is a space for LGBTQ+ students to be their authentic selves, find and provide support, share resources and build community.

Group meetings usually consist of introductions/icebreakers, a group share-out and discussions.  For those students who attend the meeting, they can choose to get connected to the LGBTQ+ support group GroupMe, if desired.  It's an extra opportunity for folks to stay connected/engaged between meetings.

Meetings will be held every Wednesday from 4-5 p.m., beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at CORD 349, located on the third floor of the Student Success Center.
