Law Group of Northwest Arkansas Endowed Gift Benefits Students in LL.M. Program

The Law Group of Northwest Arkansas LLP has made a gift of $25,000 to establish the Law Group of Northwest Arkansas Agricultural and Food Law Endowed Award in the School of Law.

The funds will provide support to students pursuing an LL.M. in agricultural and food law at the U of A School of Law.

"I am very grateful for the support that the Law Group provides to the LL.M. program," said Susan Schneider, director of the LL.M. program and the William H. Enfield Professor of Law. "This award will allow us to recruit talented students and assist them with their specialized education in agricultural and food law, confronting issues that are becoming more and more important. And beyond the award, we are just so proud of our alumni at the firm. They each provide a shining example of what it means to be a professional and how to serve clients with the highest standards of ethics."

Founding partners of the Law Group of Northwest Arkansas K.C. Dupps Tucker and Kristy Boehler Logsdon said, "We appreciate the support of so many who helped us pursue law as a career and opened doors to traditionally male-dominated practice areas. We believe that our success is also the law school's success, and we hope to continue supporting students in the LL.M. Program in Agricultural and Food Law. It is our hope that our firm's engagement with law students will expose them to the fundamentals of practicing law the right way. Additionally, our work with law students provides us with a unique and creative perspective and fresh insight when it comes to meeting the needs of our clients and community. We are delighted to continue our partnership with the University of Arkansas School of Law through the endowment of this scholarship."

The Law Group of Northwest Arkansas has been a long-time supporter of legal education at the U of A School of Law. Founded by alumni, the firm has exclusively hired U of A School of Law graduates. Boehler J.D.'11, LL.M.'12, Sheila Cole J.D.'97, Hannah Catt LL.M.'19, Jason Boyeskie J.D.'08, Holly Shattuck J.D.'18, Sarah Catherine Copper J.D.'20 and Marshall Hubbard B.A.'05.

The Law Group of Northwest Arkansas also hires clerks exclusively from the U of A School of Law — eight TLG clerks are currently working toward their Juris Doctor degrees at the School of Law.

Tucker and Boehler have also served as adjunct faculty members and are staunch supporters and contributors to the LL.M. Program in Agricultural and Food Law.
