Arkansas Union Seeks Advisory Board Applicants for Committee
Arkansas Union

The Arkansas Union has issued an open call for applicants to its advisory board. The Arkansas Union Advisory Committee (AUAC) acts as an advisory body for administrative and business functions of the union. The committee provides student input into union operations, renovations and other special initiatives. General student board member positions are available for new, returning and graduate students. Open officer positions include the chair, vice chair, secretary and public relations coordinator. Officer positions include a stipend.

The Arkansas Union Advisory Committee is a great opportunity to increase student involvement, gain leadership experience and meet fellow students. Current board member Katie Kudrna shares her experience on the committee: "I joined AUAC to be involved in important campus conversation and to make a difference," Kudrna said. "This committee made me involved in campus life and also connected me to new people and programs."

Applications are available on union.uark.edu from April 20 and close May 4 at 11:59 p.m. We look forward to reviewing the applications and meeting you all come the start of school! Please reach out to Sophia Schmidt, union graduate assistant, at unionga@uark.edu with any questions.
