The U of A's chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta inducted their 2022 new members on April 3. Alpha Lambda Delta welcomed a total of 142 new members, each achieving at least a 3.8 grade point average and placing in the top 20 percent GPAs of their freshman class.
Founded in 1924, Alpha Lambda Delta is a national honor society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence among first-year students. Today, Alpha Lambda Delta has over 275 chapters throughout the United States. The U of A chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta was established in 2012 with the mission to recognize students who excel academically in their first semester and first year of college. Alpha Lambda Delta members have the opportunity to engage in service projects, apply for national scholarships and fellowships, and build leadership experience.
