Webinar on Data Security and Management Tomorrow

The U of A's Research Reproducibility and Replicability Committee will be hosting a webinar on the topic of data security and management at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 6.

Ian Czarnezki, associate chief information officer, and Stephen Tycer, chief information security officer, from University Information Technology Services will give a presentation regarding the importance of a secure research cloud option. An open Q&A discussion will follow the presentation. The event should last 90 minutes or less. 

The webinar is open for anyone to join. Faculty and graduate students are especially encouraged to attend.

New Faculty Teaching Portfolio Authors Recognized

The faculty members successfully completed the Teaching Portfolio and will be recognized at the Fall Teaching Awards ceremony hosted by the Cordes Teaching and Faculty Support Center and the Teaching Academy.
