Explore Arab Culture in Fall 2022

Did you know that you already speak Arabic every day? Words such as alcohol, cotton, sofa and jar are Arabic migrations into English!

Join us on a fascinating journey across the Arab world without leaving campus by taking ARAB 110V-002, Special Topics in Arab Culture – The Arab World: Fact and Fiction. Get to know the rich history of the Arab world and appreciate the diversity of Arab cultures and peoples. Learn about Arab music and art, discover Arab contributions to world history, find out about medieval women scientists and political leaders, and much more!

No Arabic required. The class meets MWF 10:45-11:35 a.m.
