Nola Holt Royster

Nola Holt Royster directed the University of Arkansas Career Development Center from 1993 to 2001.

Her sister and former mayor of Little Rock, Lottie Holt Shackelford, described Royster as a tireless advocate of student success. During her career at at the U of A, Holt Royster focused on teaching, job development and employer relations, and research on the impact of diversity training in various organizations.

Holt Royster died suddenly in 2001. Currently, a scholarship is awarded in her name and a suite of the Career Development Center at the U of A is named in her honor.
