Registered Student Organization re-registration for the 2022-23 academic year is now open. RSOs must re-register by June 30 in order to have benefits for the 2022-23 academic year.

Registered Student Organization re-registration for the 2022-23 academic year is now open. RSOs must re-register by June 30, 2022, in order to have benefits for the 2022-23 academic year. All current RSOs that plan to be active during the 2022-23 academic year must complete the registration process between March 14 and June 30. The following steps are required for groups to re-register:

  1. The president or treasurer listed in HogSync should initiate the RSO's HogSync renewal process by selecting "re-register organization" on the manage view of the RSO organization site within HogSync. Required information and forms that they will be prompted to review include:
    1. RSO Constitution
    2. RSO Purpose Statement/Description
    3. Profile Picture
    4. RSO Requirements Form
    5. RSO Non-Discrimination Statement
    6. Certification of RSO Officers Form
    7. Officer Quiz (required by both president and treasurer; a link will be provided to the person who completes the renewal process to send to the other officer who also must complete the quiz)
  2. Advisers must complete the required Adviser Certification form located here. The form can also be found by clicking "Forms" on the HogSync log-in page and searching for the form in the search box. It is the student's responsibility to direct the RSO adviser to the appropriate form. Advisers will not get an automatic notification from HogSync.
  3. Once the re-registration has been submitted, adviser form is received and both quizzes are passed with 80 percent or greater, the RSO's profile and officers will be reviewed.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What if I'm graduating or will not be returning as an officer? RSO benefits for the 2021-22 academic year expire June 30, 2022, so the Office of Student Activities recommends re-registration prior to leaving for summer break. Your RSO can always complete an Officer Update Form in the fall, which is a simple process once re-registration is completed.
  • What if I miss the deadline? Current RSOs that miss the re-registration window will be able to re-register during a brief window in September but will not have RSO benefits after June 30, which includes the ability to register for HillFest, the campus-wide welcome back event that will occur Monday, Aug. 22, on the Union Mall.
  • What if my group isn't listed in HogSync but we have been registered previously? Please contact the Office of Student Activities to learn the process for groups that were not registered in the 2021-2022 academic year.
  • What if I'm starting a New RSO? New RSOs are eligible to form at any time during the academic year. If you register for the first time between March 14 and June 30, your registration will include the rest of this academic year AND the 2022-2023 academic year! For individuals wishing to start a new RSO, check out the requirements on the OSA website.
