Nominations are open for the 2022 Alumni Awards of the College of Education and Health Professions. Recommendations from faculty, students, staff and the community are welcome.

This year's deadline is noon on Friday, March 4.

Three people are named each year, representing the two halves of the college plus a noteworthy recent graduate. The awards honor alumni of the college for exceptional professional and personal achievement and extraordinary distinction in their fields.

The categories are:

  • Outstanding Alumni Award in Education recognizes a COEHP graduate with exceptional professional and personal achievement and extraordinary distinction in the education professions.
  • Outstanding Alumni Award in Health and Human Services recognizes a graduate with exceptional professional and personal achievement and extraordinary distinction in the health and human service professions.
  • Outstanding Young Alumni Award recognizes an individual who has graduated in the past 10 years. Nominees should be engaged in their first career and demonstrate exceptional professional and personal achievement and extraordinary distinction in the education or health and human service professions.

Nominations should be submitted via an online form.

The college's Dean's Advisory Council established the awards in 2011. Recipients are honored at the College of Education and Health Professions' spring commencement.

More details about the honor and a list of past recipients can be found on the college's website.
