The U of A's Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences is accepting applications for college ambassador positions for 2022-23.

The program helps ambassadors with professional development and enhances leadership skills while fostering interaction between all departments, serving as liaisons between the Dean's Office and students, and assisting in student recruiting and student experiences and functions.

Ambassadors work on-campus and off-campus events; represent the college to prospective students, parents and alumni; and serve as examples of what it means to be a Bumpers College student.

Applicants must be enrolled in a Bumpers College major at least one full semester, have a minimum grade point average of 2.75, commit to two to three hours per week for responsibilities and attending regular meetings, and have strong and positive feelings about the college and university with a desire to improve student experiences.

Ambassadors receive a scholarship for the academic year with appointments evaluated each semester.

Applications must be completed and submitted to Coordinator of Undergraduate Student Recruitment Katie Dilley by Sunday, March 6, at 11:59 p.m.

The application link also includes a more detailed position description.

Students from all majors/concentrations and departments and in the School of Human Environmental Sciences are encouraged to apply.
