Career Development Center's Career Studio Now Located in Student Success Center
The Career Studio, a service provided by the Career Development Center, has moved to the first floor of the new Student Success Center. The Career Studio will be offering services from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, during the semester.
The studio is an open-concept environment where U of A students and alumni can drop in for general career-related services without an appointment. The Career Studio is staffed by Career Peer Mentors, highly trained undergraduate and graduate students representing multiple academic programs on campus. These mentors provide one-on-one and group advising/coaching for some of the CDC's most popular services, including resume and cover letter reviews, interview tips and mock interviews. They can also assist with LinkedIn profile reviews, job/internship resources and career fair etiquette assistance.
Students who prefer appointments for any of the CDC's services or who are unavailable during Career Studio hours can make appointments with career counselors through Handshake or by calling the CDC (479-575-2805). Students can contact the Career Studio at cstudio@uark.edu.
