Undergraduate Mock Trial Team Takes Home Two Second-Place Trophies

Team Jupiter places second at the Crimson Classic Mock Trial Tournament.

This past weekend the Undergraduate Mock Trial team sent three teams to competition. At the Crimson Classic tournament in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Team Jupiter took second place overall. Attorney Julianna Kantner was awarded a top attorney award on prosecution and defense, attorney Thomas Davis was awarded top attorney on prosecution and witness Emory White was awarded an outstanding witness award on prosecution.

Meanwhile, at the Scarlet and Cream tournament hosted by University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Team Mars took second place overall as well. Attorney and witness Katherine Calandro was awarded a top attorney and outstanding witness award and attorney Harrison Merrick was awarded top attorney.

Team Saturn competed at the Scarlet and Cream tournament as well. Team Saturn members were awarded three individual awards. Witness Luke Hubbard was awarded outstanding witness, attorney Mariam Abboud was awarded top attorney and witness Neyleea Gonzalez was awarded outstanding witness.
