Armed Force Employee Impact Group for Faculty and Staff Seeks Interested Members

The Armed Forces Employee Impact Group's goal is to be a resource for faculty and staff who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces. AFEIG’s mission is to provide support while advancing the common interests. AFEIG is not only open to all faculty and staff who have served, but allies are also welcome!

The Armed Forces Employee Impact Group is dedicated to assisting the university in accomplishing its mission of teaching, research and service by strengthening diversity; fostering community, belonging and mattering; and improving retention of students, faculty and staff who have served or are currently servicing in the armed forces. The AFEIG is committed to service and to diversity and inclusion. In collaboration with campus partners, it aspires to cultivate an environment in which veterans and former military members can flourish, creating opportunities for social interaction, networking, mentoring, community engagement and professional and personal development. We plan to provide more details in the upcoming year.

If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Steve McClain at smcclain@uark.edu.
