Community Woodwind and Horn Workshop: Halloween Edition

The Department of Music's Community Music School invites woodwind and horn musicians in grades 6-12 to a day of fun, inclusive learning about their instruments. Students will hear and play music with our expert faculty and their U of A studio musicians. Costumes are optional and encouraged!

The Oct. 30 event will be held in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall on the U of A campus, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. All materials, instruction, performances and lunch are included in the $30 registration fee. Scholarships are available; contact Nastassja Riley (cms@uark.edu) for information. Further details and a registration link are found at the event's web page. Don't wait — registration closes Monday, Oct. 25!

The Community Music School provides high-quality music instruction for students of all ages and ability levels in both individual and group formats through year-round, non-credit, music-making opportunities. To learn more about our ongoing programs and get involved, visit cms.uark.edu.
