The annual Employee Awards Program banquet, typically held in October, is being moved to early next year in hopes of accommodating greater attendance. Due to COVID-19 related restrictions, current capacity requirements at the proposed venue would not allow for anticipated number of guests to attend the banquet.

“While we did not want to postpone the banquet, we felt it was the best option to allow all our employees to attend and be recognized,” Debbie McLoud, associate vice chancellor for human resources, said. “We are very thankful for our staff and their efforts and contributions to support the University of Arkansas in advancing its mission.”

The banquet, designed to celebrate staff achieving service milestones in 2021, is now tentatively planned for Feb. 1, 2022. Additional information will follow as details are finalized.
