Join the Diversity and Inclusion Student Council for dinner in the Union Theatre, Wednesday, Sept. 29, with special guest Amy Tu J.D.'96, executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Tysons Inc. The dinner presentation will be followed by a Q&A for students. 

Tu is responsible for Tyson Food's legal, government affairs, corporate communications, ethics and compliance, and internal audit functions enterprise-wide. She has oversight of all legal matters including litigation and investigations, corporate securities and governance, mergers and acquisitions, international, labor and employment, environmental and health and safety. Amy also leads Tyson Ventures, a venture capital fund investing in companies developing breakthrough technologies, business models and products to sustainably feed the growing world population.

Tu earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Wellesley College. In 2013, she was selected as the Johnson Fellow for the University of Arkansas. Tu serves as a member of the NWA Council Executive Committee and as a board member for the Minority Corporate Counsel Association.
