Students who need assistance obtaining statistics for a presentation or paper are invited to attend one of three upcoming workshops hosted by Lora Lennertz, data librarian. The University Libraries recently acquired DataPlanet, a resource for obtaining and visualizing statistics on a wide range of topics from a variety of sources. Lennertz will show attendees how to utilize this resource in their coursework. Registration is required.

In-person sessions will be held from 10-11 a.m. Sept. 28 and from 12-1 p.m. Oct. 1 in the Mullins Library Seminar Room (MULN 463). Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and must wear a face covering if social distancing cannot be maintained.

A virtual session will be offered from 2-3 p.m. Sept. 29 on Microsoft Teams.

Lennertz also provides DataPlanet training sessions tailored to individual classes. Instructors may contact her at lennertz@uark.edu for more information.
