Are you interested in Dante's Divine Comedy and its presence in cinematic adaptations and pop culture? Are you looking for a course that bridges literature and the visual arts? Are you a fan of films based on literary works? Dante: A Journey Between Visions and Words (ITAL4123 001/WLLC 575V 002) is offered this Fall semester to celebrate the seventh centenary of Dante's death. Students will have the opportunity to visit the Special Collections, engage in the preparation of a book exhibit and participate to lectures of renowned Dante scholars. Open to undergraduate and graduate students; taught in English.
