Arkansas Law Review Announces New Editorial Board, Members, Staff Editors
The Arkansas Law Review has announced its editorial board, members and staff editors for the 2021-22 academic year. The flagship journal is published quarterly by students at the U of A School of Law and serves the Arkansas legal community and beyond by publishing scholarship of state, national and international importance.
"It's such an honor to be named the editor-in-chief of the Arkansas Law Review," said Taylor Spillers. "I can't think of a more rewarding way to end my law school experience, especially given all the talented individuals that I now have the pleasure of working with. It should be a great year with this team!"
The law review's first issue was published in the fall semester of the 1946-47 academic year. Today, it is an established part of the legal community. Lawyers and courts throughout the nation, including the United States Supreme Court, have cited and relied on the journal. Its articles and student writings have been quoted in books and learned journals throughout the world. For an in-depth discussion of the origins and traditions of the Arkansas Law Review, see "The History of the Arkansas Law Review," by Allen W. Bird II, which was published in vol. 50 of the Arkansas Law Review (1997).
"The incoming board of the Arkansas Law Review is immense," said Alex Nunn, law professor and faculty adviser of the law review. "The journal is fortunate to have so many talented and capable editors at its helm; the law review's tradition of success is sure to continue. I'm looking forward to seeing all that these students accomplish in the year ahead."
Congratulations to the students of the 2021-22 Arkansas Law Review.
